Words Worth is very happy to welcome acclaimed author Nicola Ross, bringing and signing the latest in her much loves Loops & Lattes Hiking Guide series, Waterloo, Wellington & Guelph Hikes.
Local outdoor enthusiasts have long known of the great hiking potential in and around Waterloo region, and have been clamoring for Nicola to bring her eye for detail and imagination she shares in her other Ontario guide books to the area.
Well, wait no longer, because Loops and Lattes for Waterloo, Wellington & Guelph is finally out this December, and Nicola will be bringing it in person to sign copies on Saturday, December 7 from 2-4 pm!

Susan Swan is the author of author of eight books of fiction, including The Biggest Modern Woman of the World, which was nominated for both the Governor General’s Literary Award and the Books in Canada First Novel Award; the internationally best-selling Wives of Bath; and The Western Light, selected as one of the top ten novels of its year by the Ontario Library Association. Born in Midland, Ontario, she attended McGill University, was professor at York University, and chair of The Writers’ Union of Canada. She lives in Toronto with her husband, Patrick Crean.
Maureen Jennings was born in the UK and now lives in Toronto. Best known for the Detective Murdoch books, which have been adapted into the long-running television series, Murdoch Mysteries, she is also the author of the Tom Tyler and Christine Morris books. Her books have been translated into other languages, including Polish, Korean, French, German, Italian, and Czech. Murdoch Mysteries has been aired in many countries, including the UK, the US, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Czech, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Ukraine, and the Baltics. Jennings was awarded a Certificate of Commendation from Heritage Toronto in 1998 and the Grant Allen award for on-going contribution to the genre in 2011. She has received a total of eight nominations from the Crime Writers of Canada, for best novel and best short story of the year. Jennings lives in Toronto with her husband, photographer Iden Ford, and her dog, Murdoch.
