Feel free to come into the store any time between 9am and 6pm Monday through Saturday, or 12pm to 5pm Sunday. As of Monday March 22nd 2022, masks are no longer required to shop in-store, though they are appreciated. If you normally wear a mask but forgot one, we are happy to sell you a disposable one for $2/per mask.
If you are still more comfortable not entering the store we are continuing to offer phone/web orders, and no-contact pickup from our backdoor. Reminder that the backdoor pick-up requires pre-payment before you arrive. Once payment is made, feel free to swing by between during hours we are open. Just ring our doorbell and stand 6 feet back. We'll leave your package beside the door for safe, no-contact pick-up!

We also continue to do online sales and no-contact local (Kitchener & Waterloo) delivery. Delivery is $8. Outside KW delivery is available, but the cost varies depending where it’s going.
Looking to support Words Worth, but not really sure of any titles you're interesting in right now? Buying a gift card is a great way! We are always happy to set up gift cards by phone and/or email. All we need is to know how many gift cards you need, how much on the card(s), and your payment info. Once payment is made, we can ship the GC to you, or hold it here for pick up for a later date, whichever works best for you.

Continue reading. Books are the unsung heroes of mental health, bolstering hope and optimism, healthy escape, wisdom, and empathy. Books are true lifelong companions. We will continue to put great titles into people's hands (without actually touching anyone for the foreseeable future!) for as long as we can. It is basically part of our unofficial honour code as booksellers.
Our bookstore also functions as more than just a bastion to the written word. At Words Worth we have the honour to know people from many walks of life with their own unique stories. We function as a community hub, offering a familiar voice and a listening ear. During this time of uncertainty we continue to be just a phone call, or an email, away. Be well.
